HFS is a highly integrated department where units work together to support student success and provide the campus community with exceptional dining experiences. Our classified positions are located at various locations across the University of Washington campus.
Our professional staff positions are integral to our success, as these positions bring specific expertise and strategic thinking to the team.
UW Dining Taste of Excellence Recognition Program
Each quarter, UW Dining selects five employees to receive the UW Dining Taste of Excellence Award for their excellent work within their dining unit. Employees are nominated based on alignment with department core values of Customer Service, Outstanding Efforts, Community Experience and Team Development/Leadership. A committee comprised of five dining managers and five classified team members select the employees who best fit these values.
This program serves to strengthen the UW Dining community and celebrate our employees for their hard work and dedication each quarter. The following recipients exemplify our values and go above and beyond to create a great customer experience.
