College is full of excitement, opportunities and challenges. HFS and the UW have a number of services that support students’ physical, emotional and mental health, so you can make the most of your time here.

Residential Life resources

If you would like help exploring options, a good place to start is with your RA or CA. RAs and CAs are well-versed on campus resources and can help you access them.

Student Well-Being is the website for all UW-Seattle health services. Explore the site to learn about and to access the many health and wellness resources available to you including:

Mental health

Mental health care is available at two locations—the Counseling Center and Husky Health. Both locations offer a safe and inclusive environment to explore the challenges of life and learning through a range of services from individual counseling, groups, workshops and referrals off-campus.

Medical care and health insurance

Medical care is available to students at Husky Health Center, located at the David C. Hall Building on UW Seattle’s campus. Hall Health can also help you understand and access health insurance.

LiveWell

LiveWell’s mission is to empower students with the knowledge and skills to make informed choices during their time at UW and beyond. Whether you have concerns about alcohol and other drugs, want to speak with a confidential advocate, or want to schedule a training for your community, LiveWell is the place to start.

SafeCampus is the University of Washington’s violence-prevention and response program. You can call SafeCampus anytime to anonymously discuss safety and well-being concerns for yourself or others.

For support call SafeCampus at 206.685.7233, Monday–Friday from 8 a.m.–5 p.m., excluding University holidays.

After hours, your calls will flow to an automated voicemail that guides you to other options for live support and consultation, in addition you are encouraged to leave a voicemail for call back on the next business day.
