Residence Halls

All of the University of Washington residence halls are conveniently located near classrooms and campus resources, as well as shopping and restaurants in the University District and the nearby University Village. The residence halls combine comfortable spaces with award-winning Residential Life programs that make your experiences in the residence halls a lot more than just room and board.

In addition to the traditional housing arrangements, we also offer Theme Communities. These are areas in the residence halls specifically designated for students with similar interests. It's a great chance to make lasting friendships with other students who share a common bond.

Most new residents will be assigned to Stevens Court buildings K–L, Lander Hall, Mercer Hall and Terry Hall (located on West Campus) and Haggett Hall, McCarty Hall and McMahon Hall (located on North Campus).

Returning residents and new students who are at least 19 years old are eligible to live in Stevens Court buildings A–D, Hansee Hall and 2104 House.
