Meeting Spaces
A limited number of activity rooms may be available for use in residence halls facilities. These include dining rooms, expandable conference rooms, lounges, patios and reception areas. Many of these areas are suitable for registration purposes. A registration area in the residence hall is available at no charge; however, all other meeting spaces require facility fees and advance reservations. Other meeting facilities on campus include:
In addition, there are smaller lounges on most floors of the living areas where guests may gather informally. A campus resource guide is available online here.
In the event the University of Washington identifies a residence hall facility as needing capital improvements, Conference Services will act on the conference’s behalf to secure an alternate location on campus at the expense of the conference.
Audio-Visual Policy
The conference will be responsible for its contracted audio-visual equipment. Conference Services may assist in locating an audio-visual provider and may order audio-visual equipment on behalf of the conference. However, the conference takes full responsibility for the equipment once on site. Equipment insurance can be purchased as a safeguard against theft, vandalism and loss.
